Swift Charging's quoting process relied heavily on third-party contractors to visit sites and produce estimates. Turnaround times stretched to up to two weeks, and an analysis of historical quotes revealed a consistent pattern: pricing was landing above the high end of market value. The result was a win rate of just 10% — leaving the majority of opportunities on the table before any conversation had even started.
What we did
Daybrain Consult audited the end-to-end quoting workflow and identified contractor cost inflation as the root cause of both slow turnaround and inflated pricing. We onboarded Swift Charging to dayBrain Volt and embedded Daybrain consultants to generate quotes directly on their behalf — bringing the process fully in-house. With contractor site visits removed from the critical path, quotes began shipping within the same working week at a cost structure that allowed competitive, market-rate pricing for the end customer.
